At Rivage, aesthetic excellence goes hand in hand with careful attention to where our flowers come from, the quantities we use and the way each project is produced.
Our approach is based on practical choices, adapted to the reality of each project. We believe in precision: selecting the right varieties, using only what is needed and designing every setting in response to its location, season and intended lifespan.
It is not about doing more, but about creating with purpose, exacting standards and restraint.
Provence and the Mediterranean shape both our visual language and the way we work.
Whenever the season and the project allow, we favour flowers grown in the Var and neighbouring Italy. This proximity supports regional growers, gives us greater insight into the origin of our materials and allows us to work with varieties when they are naturally at their best.
Each project is planned as accurately as possible to limit surplus. Vessels, structures and decorative elements are retained and reused whenever their nature allows.
We favour durable materials, reduce packaging and single-use elements, and organise our production and transport thoughtfully.
The lifespan of a floral setting begins with its design. Flowers and plants are selected according to their natural durability, the conditions of the space and the length of time they are expected to remain at their best.
For both recurring installations and one-off events, this approach allows us to balance visual impact, quality of execution and a more responsible use of resources.
We believe in a form of luxury rooted in craftsmanship — one that respects both the people who grow our flowers and the places in which they are displayed.
A thoughtful and exacting approach guided by a simple principle: not systematically creating more, but creating better.
